    Have we got the Xfactor

Yesterday was Xfactor audition day which was held at the Manchester United Football Stadium.Soccer ball  We arrived at 6.15am and there were all ready hundreds of people there , it looked as though some of them had been there all night. We had been told that the auditions would take place outside and we had been advised to dress apropriately Umbrella. It was freezing cold but at least the rain was holding off.

We stood in the que for two and a half hours befor anyone appeared and then they set up the cameras and we were filmed shouting , waving ,  cheering , and finally I got a glimps of Dermot O'Leary Open-mouthed.  They  let us into the ground at 9.15am and the kids were given their audition numbers. We were then led to our seats on the terreces were we sat shivering for another three and a half hours befor the auditions began. Note

All the wouldbe stars were auditioned behind a screan on the edge of the pitch. No, not by Simon Cowell and co ,  but by the produces of the show and Simons music people. If successful you would be given a golden ticket and be invited back for a second audition on Mon/Tue.  By the time our turn came it was about 2.30pm, the kids were shivering, my daughter wasn't sure she would remember her words and my son just wanted it to be over, but I was deffenetly the most nurvous and I wasn't singing. Confused

The bad news is, we didn't get a golden ticket,Sad the good news is , I haven't got to  buy new outfits and stand queing for a second audition. Wink  Yes they were dissapointed , but theres always next year.
